"I got the Custom Audio Electronics 4 x 4 Audio Controller before l went on tour for the last album. It's made it a lot easier for me to use all of my old effects. All of this stuff I was using got out of hand. I had so much noise, and my roadie couldn't figure it out. The system cost a lot of money, but it was worth it. "I've got a lot of different fuzz boxes. I hoard them. l really like the Super Fuzz I have two gray ones, two orange ones and two black ones. I have 10 original Big Muffs, but l prefer the ones that came out a little later the ones with all the knobs in a straight row. You can play chords on those, and they sound really 'metal.' "
