"I played this Thirties Vega banjo on 'Gotta Know'. It has six strings, like a guitar. I had written that song a long time ago on the guitar, but I couldn't play it the way I wanted to. It's not that hard, but when I tried to record that song for Without a Sound, I couldn't sustain that fingerpicked part long enough. It took me three years to barely get it together. I'm glad I finally got it together fot his album."
